Empowerment, Self-Esteem & Communication
I am a self-published author of six books and counting, a certified Grief Coach, and the host of Get It Off Your Chest—a heartfelt podcast featured under AgoodStoryTeller. My work is grounded not in theory, but in lived experience. I know grief intimately—not from observation, but from personal loss. When I lost my beloved mother, I was left adrift in a sea of emotion; sorrow, numbness, silent anger. There was no one to help me navigate the chaos. Writing became my anchor, and through that process, my healing began. That journey birthed my memoir Farrago, sparked meaningful conversations, and opened doors to support others navigating their own grief.
Fuels my storytelling. It’s made me more compassionate. The experiences I faced along the way also gave birth to my podcast series Get it off your chest — a space for healing and truth.
Over time, I realised my story was not just mine—it was a bridge. A bridge to those who, like me, had lost part of themselves when they lost someone they loved. Today, I help individuals confront their grief with courage, compassion, and clarity. I do not offer quick fixes. Instead, I provide a safe, empathetic space to process your loss, practical tools to live with your grief—not suppress it—and the reassurance that healing is possible, even if joy feels far away. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply tired of pretending to be okay—I invite you to take the first step. Book a session, and let’s walk this journey together. You're not alone.
Grief is a complex and deeply personal experience, often made up of many layered emotions. You may feel numb one moment and overwhelmed the next. Common emotional states include sadness, guilt, anger, loneliness, confusion, and even relief—especially after witnessing a loved one’s prolonged suffering. Some feel abandoned, disconnected, or anxious about the future. Others wrestle with shame, regret, or a sense of emptiness. These emotions may come and go without warning. Grief isn't just sorrow—it’s a wide range of feelings that reflect the depth of your love and the significance of your loss. All of it is valid.
Grief changed my life—but it also gave it purpose.
I became a grief coach not by accident, nor by academic pursuit, but because I lived the weight of loss. When my mother passed away, the world didn’t stop—but mine did. In the stillness, I realised how isolating grief can be—how many people suffer quietly, with no one to walk beside them.
What motivates me to coach is knowing that no one should’ve to navigate that pain alone.
Through my own healing journey—through writing, speaking, and listening—I discovered that grief isn’t something to “get over,” but something to live with. My motivation is to offer what I didn’t have at the time; a safe space, a compassionate guide, and the kind of presence that says, “I see you. I hear you. You matter.”
Each client I work with reminds me that healing is possible—not by forgetting, but by remembering with gentleness, by grieving with courage, and by learning how to love life again, even in the presence of sorrow.
That’s why I coach. Because if my story can light a path for someone else, then every tear, every struggle, every step—has meaning.
What makes my approach to coaching different is that it’s grounded in lived experience and led with authenticity. I don’t rush healing, and I don’t offer clichés. I walk alongside my clients with compassion, helping them explore their pain, name their emotions, and rebuild their lives with intention. My coaching is a blend of deep listening, reflective tools, and soul-level guidance—tailored to each unique journey.
I work with individuals who are grieving deeply—whether due to the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a life transition, or even a version of themselves they’ve had to let go. My clients are often people who feel stuck, unheard, or simply exhausted from “keeping it together.” I support them in moving from quiet survival to meaningful healing—gently, one step at a time.
To guide hearts through grief with compassion, clarity, and purpose—helping you heal, grow, and rediscover your strength through storytelling and soul work.
Helping you make sense of loss without rushing your healing or minimising your emotions.
Supporting you to gently rebuild purpose, routine, and direction after grief changes everything.
Teaching you to treat yourself with the same kindness you offer others—especially in your hardest moments.
Helping you reconnect with people, passions, and your inner truth, without pretending to be okay.
Creating space for you to name emotions, process thoughts, and gain peace of mind.
Equipping you with tools to move forward, not just to survive, but to live with intention and heart.
Since my debut with Overcoming Apprehensions, my writing has grown to encompass a range of stories that address resilience, self-discovery, and the transformative power of love and loss. Some of my notable works include:
A true story exploring trauma, recovery, and the pursuit of empowerment.
A fictional journey of self-realisation against the pressures of expectation.
A tale of family, jealousy, and the complex webs of admiration and envy
Each book carries a unique message, touching on universal experiences and emotions that we all share. Whether it’s through fiction, memoir, or self-help, I strive to reach readers where they are and provide them with a sense of connection, hope, and understanding.
